StatRivals records aggregate page views, chart card views and clicks, share actions and PNG downloads to understand which rivalries readers find useful.

Analytics stores the page path, chart identifier, a broad traffic source category and daily counts. It does not store full referrer URLs, search query text, analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. It does not identify unique visitors.

IP addresses are not stored in analytics reports. A daily rotating hash is temporarily used for abuse prevention and removed after two days. Aggregate daily statistics are retained for up to 90 days.

Browsers requesting Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded, as are known bots, preview deployments and signed-in administrators.
